The staff is very friendly, very helpful and they answer questions to help transition medications and things like that. I liked all the people I was dealing with there. They had the interior courtyard with the rocks and my dad likes rocks a lot. I like its very close proximity to my home. Sandy My father is in Lakeshore Assisted Living and Memory Care. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident I haven't tried the food, but I've seen it. It has a big window, so she can look outside if she wants to. They have to be helped with that anyway, so it's not a problem. The suite room where my mother is in shares the bathroom with her neighbor. In some of the suites, they have a bathroom. They all have, pretty much, a room to themselves. She doesn't even recognize me on those days. Sometimes though, she has a bad day (it's not their fault, it's just her). When my mother has a good day, she's happy there.

They'd rather keep them busy doing things. The people there are very friendly, very watchful, and everything. My mother has dementia, so sometimes you have good days and bad days. It has nice colors, and the residents seem to like it there. Words of thanks are inadequate to express continued appreciation to AH and staff for bringing such love, health, and happiness into however many years (and we hope many!) she has left on this side of heaven.ĭianna My mom has moved into Lakeshore Assisted Living and Memory Care.

She misses her old friends but is enjoying meeting new ones who she says are delightful. Within a few weeks of physical therapy, she was back to her former spunky witty self - and wearing her signature high heels! She is thriving, adores the staff, says she can't remember the last time she felt so much joy and health, and feels like every staff member is trying to spoil her rotten. Within a few days or nourishment and timely medication delivery, she was stronger. Our fears that she would further wither and decline were unfounded. My grandmother (100 on 3.15.14) faced a rapid decline in her health so was relocated from her childhood home and away from a lifetime of friends to be close to family. RHunsicker Arbor House is simply wonderful and an answer to many prayers.
